Forgalis TradingJournal 1.1.25 makes it easier to capture what you planned before a trade, compare it with what actually happened, and keep broker-imported positions accurate over time.
Plan trades with multiple targets
Planned Targets lets you record TP1, TP2 and additional take-profit levels instead of reducing a multi-exit plan to a single target. Add a percentage allocation to each target, and when the plan totals 100%, FTJ calculates a weighted Planned R from the original entry and stop.
- Record multiple planned exits for the same trade.
- Assign a percentage of the position to each target.
- See a weighted Planned R for the complete plan.
- Keep the original plan separate from actual fills and the final result.
Compare the original plan with the outcome
Initial SL, Initial TP, Planned R and Realised R are shown as clearly separate parts of the trade review. This makes it easier to see what you planned at entry and how the trade actually finished.
If a stop and target setup cannot produce a valid Planned R, FTJ shows it as unavailable instead of displaying a misleading value.
Stop History records stop levels FTJ observes from the broker after entry. Moving a stop to break-even or trailing it later does not replace the original Initial SL.
Review break-even trades more consistently
You can set a Break-Even tolerance for each journal. Small positive or negative results inside that amount can be classified as Break-even while the actual P/L remains unchanged.
Exclude Break-Even remains a separate Win Rate option, so you can choose whether break-even trades are included in the Win Rate calculation. The same classification is used across Dashboard and Reports.
More reliable broker sync
cTrader, MT4 and MT5 sync has been strengthened, particularly around imported open positions and later closes. FTJ keeps the original risk information more reliably across repeated syncs, handles duplicate imports and close records more safely, and keeps fetched rows visible after Import Selected so it is easier to see what was processed.
FTJ remains read-only. Broker positions are still opened, modified and closed at the broker; Fetch/Sync is then used to bring the journal up to date.
More accurate Lots display for cTrader
For cTrader symbols where the broker provides contract-size information, FTJ now uses that value for the Lots display. This makes Lots conversion more accurate for non-standard symbols such as XAGUSD. In the verified XAGUSD example, 50 units = 0.01 lots at 5,000 units per lot. If the broker does not provide contract size, the configured Units per Lot value is still used as the fallback.
A cleaner Trades workspace
The Trades screen is less crowded. Strategy & Confluences, Images, Trade Notes, Executions & Stop History and Self-Reflection can be expanded when needed, and FTJ remembers which top-level sections you prefer expanded or collapsed between restarts.
Settings and Reports also open more quickly on larger journals.
Forgalis TradingJournal remains local-first: your journal database stays on your Windows PC, while FTJ focuses on structured review, clear performance analysis and reliable broker-history import.
