Pair-Specific Forex Tool
USD/CHF Pip Calculator
Calculate the value of one pip and the total pip value for USD/CHF. The calculator opens with USD/CHF selected and keeps lot size, lot type, pips, account currency and conversion rate editable.
Lot size is multiplied by the selected lot type.
No conversion needed: CHF is the quote currency and your account currency.
For non-quote account currencies, enter the conversion rate you want to use, or use the optional latest indicative FX rate. Uses latest indicative FX rates. Broker/platform prices may differ.
USD/CHF pip value example
USD/CHF is quoted in CHF. For a CHF account, 1 standard lot is 10 CHF per pip because 100,000 units x 0.0001 = 10 CHF.
If you enter 25 pips, the total value is 10 CHF x 25 = 250 CHF before costs. If your account currency differs from CHF, conversion may be needed.
How this calculation works
For USD/CHF, CHF is the quote currency and the typical pip size is 0.0001. Position units = lot size x lot type units. Pip value in quote currency = position units x pip size.
If your account currency is not CHF, the calculator uses the conversion rate and direction you enter. Total value = pip value per pip x number of pips.
